This year's SP Bindings Teamweek took us to Innsbruck, where we rented a cozy team house for the week.
We kicked things off on Saturday at Seegrube with the SP x SANE Spring Break Session. Fresh snow, blue skies and Cash for Tricks, where we handed out 500 bucks for the wildest tricks and cleanest stomps.
Our test booth was packed all day with riders taking the latest SP Bindings for a lap. There were snacks, refreshments, and a highest ollie contest to close out the session. In between we also held a small side event to give a first look at this season's secret limited-edition binding, which has been in the making for a long time. Stay tuned.
As the clouds rolled in on Sunday and brought some snow, we had to change plans.
Luckily we had our local Don, Michi Schatz, who showed us the best spots around Innsbruck, and it turned into an insanely fun street session. Sketchy rails, flatdrops and a gap session over old tennis courts, all at a secret abandoned building dream spot: every binding got tested on all of it.
On the last day we tried our luck on some powder spots. Still fogged up everywhere, but we scored some fun runs and side hits anyway.
