I had an old SP fastec binding for more than ten years. It was working perfect. With the new Board I bought the SP Core binding. The toe strap broke after 3 years. The Material was much top think. ****.

Gute Bindung, sehr vielseitig, man kann sie normal über die zwei Schnallen schließen oder über den Schnelleinstieg. Der Boden der Bindung ist allerdings recht billig mit etwas Schaumgummi der über die Schrauben fürs Board gelegt ist.

Great bindings im a size 10 in snowboard boots and got a size M bindings. Shouldve gotten a L.

With this review, I am not evaluating the bindings themselves in terms of performance, but rather their appearance, the fast delivery, and the customer support.

Visually, they look very high-quality and they also feel great. They come with baseplates for 4-hole and 8-hole snowboard mounting systems.

However, I have a Burton board with a channel system. I contacted them about this on Instagram, and they advised me to reach out to customer support. I did so, and they replied the very same evening, confirming that the appropriate discs for my board were not included — but they kindly offered to send them to me free of charge.

Overall, these are my first bindings, and I’m already looking forward to my next winter vacation to try them out.

Super easy to get into and materials feel high quality.

Awesome bindings! Ended up having to get a size 15 (normally a 14) burton boot, and the bindings still fit and work great.

I've been snowboarding for nearly 40 years, with many different conventional bindings. This is my first season riding SP Fastec Core bindings. I am extremely happy with them. They're far more solid and responsive than I had ever expected.
I'll never go back to sitting in the snow, to strap in. And, I've seen too many failures of step-ons & boot flaws, to go that direction.

I have had a great time riding these this year. 3 run of the day yesterday when I got off of the lift the toe strap had just snapped off. I'm in much need of a replacement.

Been riding SPs for the last 6 years and they're amazing bindings. Super responsive at the top end of the models available. Would definitely recommend shelling out for the Core and above (alu frames) the plastic frames are a bit fragile if you're riding hard all day but the aluminium frames can take a beating!

I love my bindings, in my opinion they look so much more stylish and sportive than other bindings you see out on the snow, when im with my friends im always the fastes one ready

Switched from Flow Alpha's to these. Do much easier to get in and out of. Other boarders watch how fast I can step in standing up! So glad I got them

Ich war auf Grund der schnellspann Technik anfänglich sehr skeptisch, jedoch muss ich sagen das es doch sehr praktisch ist. Das einzige was mich ein wenig stört ist, nachdem man zum aussteigen den Verschluss gelöst und das Highback nach hinten klappt hat, ich regelmäßig an den schmalen Durchgängen am Lift mit dem Highback hängengeblieben bin da dieses ausladend nach hinten hängt.

Wenn man jedoch eine gewisse Routine darin bekommt klappt man es einfach kurz mit dem Fuß hoch.
Es muss noch erwähnt werden das bei einer sehr fest zugezogen Bindung der schnellspanner nicht einfach so mit dem Finger wieder zugedrückt werden kann da der Hebel für diese Kräfte einfach zu klein ist.

Beim einsteigen kann es auch immer wieder dazu kommen das der Zehencap nicht richtig über den Schuh gleitet so das man diesen immer ein wenig zurechtrücken muss.
Die Bindung ist, bedingt durch ihre einteilige komplette Aluminiumkostruktion sehr steif, leicht und macht einen qualitativen hochwertigen Eindruck.

Alles in allem eine tolle Bindung!

I have ridden these bindings every Friday for 3 years and I have no complaints. They work great and are very fast. Save 30 seconds every run. If that matters to you.

I was hesitant at first to get these bindings, but I said screw it let's give them a shot. I've never used a pair of bindings like this but my friend had some flow bindings back in the day that seemed pretty cool. First off they look amazing. Second they feel great. These bindings were way more responsive than I thought they'd be. I've used a lot of bindings (different cartels, P1, P1 Carbon, Triad EST) and these are probably my favorite by far. Getting in and out of them is quick and easy and you just set them up once and confidently strap back in knowing it's always perfectly bound to your boots with no second guessing if you have them tight enough. They handled everything I through at them from powder to rails. These bindings gave me a sense of confidence that I havnt had in a while. They really did blow me away and I highly recommend them. I'll be picking up another pair next season for my other board I'm getting.
Also people see you get in these things quickly and head down the mountain way before they can and they can't help but ask what the hell these are. Get some!

I'm very pleased with these bindings. They work as advertised, and I expect to keep using them for a long time to come. That said, I would suggest that potential buyers consider one key design trade-off. In a traditional binding the heel loop and high back are separate components with independent adjustability. The Core binding combines them into a single component. The exact position of the high back when you're strapped in is determined by three adjustments: high back rotation, high back pivot point, and effective cable length. But pivot point and cable length are interdependent, which reduces the overall range of adjustment. If you're especially fussy about adjustment, you might not be as happy as I am with this brilliant design.

Managed to snatch the last SP Core 2021s online. SPs are almost impossible to get in Canada. Can't wait to shred on em when coronavirus is over.
